Apollo Smart is soon to be available from RPM Fuels and Tanks
Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 04:00AM The Apollo Smart, set to be launched in the winter of 2011, is becoming one of most highly anticipated products of the year. The monitor, developed by Dunraven Systems, is the world’s first heating oil energy monitor, designed for domestic oil heating installations. It has been developed to allow customers to keep an eye on heating costs, ascertain the volume of fuel remaining in a tank and monitor consumption and emissions.
An inbuilt USB connectivity in the Apollo Smart allows consumption and usage data to be uploaded to a computer, via the optional Apollo Smart App. The downloadable App offers consumers the chance to monitor historical data, which enables them to manage their costs and control their usage.
Dunraven Systems, Managing Director, Gerry Jones commented:
"Allowing homeowners, householders and business owners to monitor their energy consumption, allows them to control it. Research with similar, smart monitoring systems indicates that consumers can save up to 15%, when proactively monitoring energy consumption. We expect similar savings will be achievable with Apollo Smart."

Apollo Smart displays the following data on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis:

• Fuel consumption in litres
The Apollo Smart also displays the following information in real time and on demand:
• Volume of fuel remaining in litres
• Volume of fuel remaining displayed via bar chart function
• Number of days supply remaining
• Internal Air Temperature in degrees Celsius
• Cold Weather Warning
• Low Level Warning Alert
• Transmitter Battery Status Alert
